I see why Santa likes this stuff!

Mailee, Mommy, and Grandma went shopping and out to lunch this afternoon. Mailee has now mastered the straw and is just so darn cute!

Santa, You and Me have to talk!

Mailee woke this morning to find the house decorated for Christmas. It was fun to see her enjoy all the decorations!

The world is my Dance Floor!

Mommy got some Ugg boots for my birthday last week (good job, Johnny!) and they came in a BIG box. Mailee decided the box made for a great dance floor! Boogie on Tiny Dancer!

First Fridge Art

Mailee seemed very interested in some crayons that she found in a box in the office. I thought I'd let her have a try with them. She created this beautiful piece in the 30 seconds before she thought about how good the crayons might taste! After a bite of yellow, the crayons were put away for a few weeks until we will try again!

Mailee, Make "Ugly Face!"

Mailee's latest game is to copy funny faces we make. Her favorite is "Ugly Face!" The best part of "Ugly Face" is the nasaly sound that she decided goes with it.

She cracks us up! What a ham!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Mailee had a lot of fun on Turkey Day at Grandma and Grandpa's house! We shared the holiday with Auntie Em, Uncle Josh and Auntie Michele, Auntie Brean, and Uncle Gabe, along with cousins Kali, Karly, Hannah, and Camille, but the most fun for Mailee was visiting with her cousin, Jacob. He is only 12 days older than her and they were in awe of each other. Jacob woke from a nap to meet Miss Mailee. A typical boy, he hit her to say "hello." :)
I don't think Mailee will be asking for any brothers soon... but after the initial greeting, they enjoyed the company of another little person!

Many Adventures Ahead!

As we have headed into year 2, Mailee and Mommy have switched to a Blog. We hope to easily share our photos and adventures with family and friends. We are having so much fun learning and growing!

On this Thanksgiving weekend, we are thankful for a healthy first year and wish you all to know the happiness of a 1-year-old!
